Google Chrome Experiment: Photowall

In the latest episode of the State of Tech podcast (Thestateoftech.org) I shared a cool Chromecast app called Photowall.

The premise behind photowall is your Chromecast now becomes the dumping ground for images from anyone on the wifi network and displays them in a fun way on your TV. There are also apps available for Android and IOS. Head on over to https://www.chrome.com/photowall/#create/select and check it out!

 A few things worth mentioning:

  • You can run this from a laptop no Chromecast necessary.
  • You maintain control of the photowall (remove images etc)
  • You can save images posted to the photowall
