5 #IFTTT Recipes that make my life easier.
If you are not using #IFTTT thank you are working harder than you have too. I wrote about IFTTT a while back and I have been finding more and more uses for it all the time. Here are 5 of my favorite #IFTTT recipes that make my life easier.
The first problem that I solved was the in-ability to save things to diigo natively in IOS, yes I could copy and paste in the diigo app but I wanted something simpler. So I setup a recipie that will monitor my gmail for an email with 4diigo in the title and add it to diigo. You can find that recipe here: https://ifttt.com/recipes/76941
The next problem was I never filled out my milage sheet to get reimbursed I did however check in on foursquare so I could update the district status board with my location. 2 birds one stone, I setup this recipe that will track my checkins on a google spreadsheet. You can find that recipe here: https://ifttt.com/recipes/58835
As some of you may know every resource that I find I bookmark using diigo. I also like to consume my RSS feeds via Google reader and Flipboard. I needed a way to get my favorites from Flipboard / Google reader over to diigo. This recipe does just that: https://ifttt.com/recipes/76942
I found myself not getting helpdesk tickets right away do to the amount of email that I have enter my inbox. I needed a way to be alerted when a user submitted a heldpesk ticket. So I turned on this recipe: https://ifttt.com/recipes/76943
No matter how many times I looked at my calendar in a day it seemed that I always missed something. That being said I never miss a text message. So because of that I set up my Google reminders to send me a text message! https://ifttt.com/recipes/76944
