Use Diigo to save your favorite tweets!

This is a quick tip for bookmarking your favorite tweets in Diigo. I like to backup my items in more than one place. In the words of Vikki Davis “Diigo is like a secondary brain”. Today we are going to look at getting your favorite tweets over to Diigo.

To get started login to http://www.diigo.com and click on tools:

Now look on the left hand side for “Save favorite tweets”

Now you have to connect to Twitter to allow the saving of your “Favorite Tweets”

You will now have to authorize Diigo access to your Twitter account:

After you authorize the application you will be redirected back to the Diigo site where you can setup your preferences.

You should now see this:

Thats it. Now every time you favorite a tweet on your phone, desktop, or someone else’s computer diigo will use the hashtags to sort your bookmarks!

Let me know if you need any help settings this up.

For more information for Diigo check out Diigo in EDU: http://www.diigo.com/education

*Side Tip: Have a website or blog? Setup a subdomain to point to your Diigo account for example: bookmarks.tjhouston.com

Thanks
