Quick Tip: Use Google to Create QR Codes

You may already be using Google’s URL shortening service goo.gl. Did you know you can use the same tool to create QR codes? Here’s How:

Go to http://goo.gl and enter in your URL.

Click “Shorten” and paste the URL in your browser (don’t hit enter!)

Add “.qr” to the end of the url and click enter

You will now get a fancy QR code to post on your website or your assignments so students can find them online and print out another copy if need be.

What do you use for QR code creation? How do you use them in your classroom?
